Returning to the moon….

Hello folks πŸ™‚ Anyone out there?

I’m off on tour tomorrow. I will be super busy playing and recording!!

The latest on my 2nd album. 7 of the songs have been recorded. But in my experience that’s the easy part. Once all the songs have been recorded is when the real hard work begins.

So if I am being realistic, it won’t be complete this year I’m targeting next year…… fingers crossed.

If I can, I will put something up on here or my Facebook page soon so look out for it!

Living the dream…..still!

Hi!

It’s been too long πŸ™ apologies for that. 2014 was a year of exceptional highs. The experience of South America seems like a dream and sometimes I have to pinch myself if it really happened! I didn’t even mention that in Medellin I met a guy from the gym in Brighton then a week later in Bogota I met another guy from the same gym! Words escape me :0

So…..I’m off again πŸ™‚ this time to Asia! I start in Bangkok then head to Myanmar (or Burma if you are from the old school). Then back to Thailand to spend 10 days in a Vipissana retreat. 10 days of no talking, no eye contact, no meat, no music, no alcohol no……you get the picture!!! 4am start doing nothing but “meditation”. However you could say that is a fancy hippy word so lets just call it “sitting still” πŸ™‚ I’m a bit nervous but hoping it will be an incredible experience πŸ™‚

So far I’m 2/3 of the way through my next album! Sounding great! Final part will be completed when I return πŸ™‚

All set for the offski….

Hello people,

Just an update to my plans for the new year. Surprise surprise I’m off travelling!

Today I start another journey of a lifetime. I’m going to Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia!

From a personal point of view South America was always “The one that got away” (see the story). So I have a great feeling that I will be able to take my music to another continent. Only one continent remains where I am yet to play……does anyone know of any venues in Antarctica??

Of course I will be taking my guitar and hopefully will be able to pen a few classics. The only tools I need are a guitar, hammock and a beer….oh and a view of the ocean can help too.

I came across this quote: “This is the time for small paychecks and big memories. This is the time for travel. We are about as attached to one location as we are to our favorite Chinese take-out place. We know what we like about it, and we take comfort in the familiarity, but that’s about it.”
– Jessy Tapper

Providing I don’t get kidnapped I will be hitting the studio when I get home!

Be sure to follow me on Facebook as to where I am and what I’m up to.

Till I return……
